Acolytes
Our Acolyte Ministry is vital to the worship experience at First Presbyterian. This wonderful leadership opportunity is available to any child ages 2nd grade & up. Contact the church office if you would like to be a part of this service role.
Be the Light
Since ancient times, light and fire have reminded people that God is here with us. When acolytes bring the light into the place where people are gathering to worship, they are reminding them that God is with us. At the end of the service, acolytes carry the light out of the sanctuary, reminding us that when we leave worship, we carry the light of Christ into the world.
You are the light of the world.
